Our target date to have our spring weed control products down here in southeast Kentucky is March 1st. This gives the time for our premium pre-emergent product, Dimension, to get fully watered into soil and begin it’s process of keeping those weed seeds that have been just sitting in the soil from starting to grow. This spring application is very important to begin keeping the weed population numbers low and are much easier to control that way. Not treating your yard at all can result in scenes like this outside your window:
