- Can you describe the project Mink’s completed?
Minks installed a swimming pool with a waterfall and 12 jets down the sides. They also landscaped around the pool and installed a riverbed with a running creek under a stone bridge which creates the steps going up to the pool area. They were also involved with the construction of my pool house where they laid six stone pillars with stone tops for the posts to hold up the porch on the pool house.
- Why did you choose Mink’s?
I chose Minks for this project because I had seen their work and admired their creativity and workmanship on other projects. They were also a local company who I felt would stand behind their work and service any problems promptly.
- Can you describe Mink’s design process?
Minks met with me prior to beginning the project to design, plan, measure, and quote the job. After making the final decisions, I paid 1/3 of the cost prior to beginning the project…1/3 halfway through and the final 1/3 upon completion. Of course we made changes along the way and Minks were easy to work with…as I changed my mind on certain things like most women do.
- Are you happy with the project Mink’s completed?
I could not be more thrilled with my completed project. It is the perfect gathering place for my family and friends.
- How would you summarize your experience with Mink’s as a whole?
My project began as a pool and ended with much more. The completed project was stretched out over three summers but that was because each year I kept adding more. Many times we had to avoid weather issues, waiting on things to come in, and hitting rock while digging. Minks worked with me through all obstacles and the end result was well worth it.
- Would you recommend Mink’s to others? If so, why?
I would recommend Minks to others mostly because of their design abilities. David has an eye for design like no other I have seen. He can visualize the end result and won’t stop until it meets his specifications.
